Check out our new studio piece... | Atlanta Boudoir Photographer

I've wanted a new piece of furniture for our boudoir studio for a while. However, I knew that any new piece I added would need to have a function to it. Storage is all that I could come up with, until I saw a neighborhood posting.

While growing up my parents made my brothers and I (there are three of us all together) take piano lessons. I say "made" because we would kick and scream in order to avoid practicing, and my parents would watch us (or close the door) until we stopped and reluctantly touched the keys again.

Fast forward to many years later (mannnyyyyyyyy years), I have a new appreciation for piano and I actually miss playing. I miss playing so much that I knew immediately that my new piece of "furniture" would actually need to be a piano. A piano neeeeeeeded to be in my life. I could not only revisit a semi-beloved creative outlet, I could have a killer prop for the boudoir studio. Plus, I'm of course going to teach my clients piano lessons during their boudoir sessions. Duh.

Well, my dreams came true and my habit of perusing internet yard-sale sites paid off.

I found a piano.

The story of how I actually GOT this piano and was able to move it in to my studio (I think it weighs 700lbs) is something that you'll have to ask me at your boudoir session.

For now, it's working as a great addition to our studio and my musical brain.

La la la la la,

Sarah

Confidence doesn't always come with a bodysuit ... |Atlanta Boudoir Photographer

First of all, if your asking about this bodysuit the let me just say: it is the best bodysuit ever. It photographs incredibly different of each body, had the perfect elasticity, and OH YES that see-through fabric. It’s from Maison Close and it’s the bomb for boudoir (and the shower and just walking around in general sensuality).

Now on to the main event.

This gorgeous client came in to see us with intentions of giving the gift of a boudoir session to her long-distance boyfriend (edited to add he is no longer long distance!). She ended up giving us the gift of a perfect eyeshadow (it’s a metallic glitter shadow from Stila) and an open mind for her session. Read her words, see her life, the variety of wardrobes, and how client interview (like this very one!) helped her make her decision for OWN!

She shared with her partner, she shared with her friends, and now she is sharing with you! Take this privilege and run with it, just like she did. Never hide how beautiful you are!

Text me for the link to that bodysuit,

Sarah

1) How old are you... or if you prefer, who were you listening to at age 14 :)?

25

2) What do you do for a living?

I'm an Account Executive for a software company

3) What/who made you decide to book a boudoir session?

I've always admired boudoir photography and been interested in booking a session. Once I saw Sarah's pictures, it was a done deal!

4) Did you have any obstacles or fears about boudoir?

No, I felt confident in working with Sarah and her wonderful team. They helped me plan my outfits/ideas for the shoot and made it an overall seamless experience.

5) Why did you choose OWN?

Sarah's pictures speak for themselves! Her work is absolutely beautiful.

6) How was the actual session different from what you expected (if at all)?

Based on all of the client interviews I read before my shoot, it was exactly what I expected. The day was extremely fun and laid back- there was great music going, Sarah had snacks out, and taking the pictures was so fun. I was sad when it was over and am already looking forward to another shoot in the future!

7) What was your favorite part of the entire experience? (priming, the shoot, seeing images, giving the images..etc)

This is a hard one! The entire experience was absolutely amazing. I think my favorite parts were getting ready and seeing the images. It was a blast getting ready with Sarah and Hope- so relaxing and the conversation was great. And then of course I was completely blown away during the viewing!

8) How has the response been to your images?

Everyone has loved the images so much! I have at least 10 girlfriends who are interested in booking their own boudoir sessions now!

9) What is your advice for women interested in such a session?

BOOK IT! You will not regret it! The images are sure to be beautiful and the day is one for the books!

10) Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty as a result of this session?

Yes, it made me feel much sexier!
