First client interview of 2018 | Atlanta Boudoir Photographer

For insight into a boudoir session with OWN Boudoir, read the first interview of 2018!

Full disclosure, this boudoir session took place in 2017 in the dark of an Atlanta night! We've been out of the studio for a bit and so now that we are BACK in studio it's time for us to start sharing more client experiences with you. This interview is full of positivity, fears, doubts, and excitement. I think those are pretty much all of the emotions that we go through when booking a boudoir session, especially when you think about posing your body, wearing lingerie and being photographed in it, or meeting a (kind of) stranger. I'm so thankful to have our clients tell you all about their boudoir session. It doesn't matter if they are in Atlanta, Oklahoma City, Houston, New Orleans, or Greenville.... hearing their shared experiences should excite any of you that are interested in your own boudoir session, be it with OWN boudoir or with the photographer you feel is right for you.

Read on and enjoy...

Cheers,

Sarah

1) How old are you... or if you prefer, who were you listening to at age 14 :)?

I’m 21!

2) What do you do for a living?

I am an aesthetician! I work with women that want to look and feel beautiful. So that’s why this boudoir session was perfect for me! Made me feel like a MILLION BUCKS!

3) What/who made you decide to book a boudoir session?

My 5 Years anniversary was around the corner. I wanted a gift for him that would top all of the other and at the same time I would have fun and I would appreciate myself more!

4) Did you have any obstacles or fears about boudoir?

Yes, a few days before my shoot I started to doubt my body! Which I think is normal for us women to. But I realize I should love me for me and a little belly roll wasn’t going to stop me from being beautiful! Also Kelsey was super helpful and would boost up my confidence!

5) Why did you choose OWN?

The moment I saw Sarah’s pictures I knew it was her. It couldn’t be anyone else. I did a lot of research and I am a crazy perfectionist. But her pictures are flawless!

6) How was the actual session different from what you expected (if at all)?

I was super worried of how it would be and if I would freeze and not know what to do! Well when I walked in seemed like I knew Sarah for years. We were laughing and having a good time. Seemed like the perfect girl night out. We talked about girl problems and took some BOMB pictures!

7) What was your favorite part of the entire experience? (priming, the shoot, seeing images, giving the images..etc)

The shoot! While we were talking pictures Sarah would show me sneak peeks and I would get so excited! It was a great experience!

8) How has the response been to your images?

The images was beautiful! They were a mixture of sexy, natural beauty and GODDESS! I had such a hard time choosing because each one was more beautiful than the other!

9) What is your advice for women interested in such a session?

GIRL DO IT! If I could I would frame all of my pictures and put them all around the house! I just limited myself to 2 because that would be extreme! I never though I could feel and look that beautiful. I fell in love with myself. You will see that your are beautiful in so many ways and form.

10) Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty as a result of this session?

Well as you can see from my previous answers I feel so much better about myself. I know I am young but your girl has put up some weight and after the shoot that showed me that my weight does not matter to be beautiful. I am so much more comfortable in my skin. Every time I am having a bad day I look in my album and say “that’s me!”
