We bought a big hat!! | Atlanta boudoir photographer

A few weeks ago I was shopping around at some of the Atlanta Christmas markets that have popped up in the city. I wasn’t in the market for anything in particular, but I loved wandering around with friends. Right before we were set to leave I SAW IT!! I saw THE hat. The hat that would be excellent for a nude beach photoshoot, an editorial boudoir session, or for the ultimate hangover helper,.

I’d been looking for a hat like this for a couple of years, now, and I’ve had minimal (actually, dismal) success with finding a great quality hat that would make a statement in a boudoir shoot. Most of the ones I’d sourced would end up wrinkled and they were never quite big enough.

Well… as soon as I laid eyes on THE hat I knew the only decision I needed to make what whether or not to get it in black. The answer was obviously yes.

Here is one of my favorite boudoir shots in THE HAT that I was able to capture, There are so many big-ass hat photos to come, but the boudoir sessions in Tampa and Miami proved to be the perfect starter-point for the hat. Let’s see how it looks in our Marietta boudoir studio next!

Thankful for you! | Atlanta Boudoir Photographer

It’s that time of year where we are reminded (or forced?! haha) to be thankful for the people and things around us.

Of course I am thankful for the big things, like: getting able to travel the country to see our Boudoir clients, my adorable little British shorthair cat that likes to wake me up at 5:30am, my partner that is patient with me and makes me laugh every day, and my bomb-ass new suitcase that I got for my birthday.

I’m also reflective and thankful for the ‘small’ things like: being able to get out of bed in the morning without pain or issue, being able to see and hear during this time of year when the world is so beautiful, Bravo’s 6 different versions of Below Deck that I binge constantly, and that we have a gas fireplace that automatically switches on without me having to become a boy scout to get it started.

I hope you have big and small things to be Thankful for this year, or that you can look forward to in the future.

Happy Thanksgiving!!
